Masks and treatments: what each one is for

Three products here, each doing a different job. A weekly clay mask for a deep clean, a toner for after cleansing and a vitamin C serum for the morning.

The weekly clay mask

Deep Purifying Clay Face Mask at $54.95 is built on Australian green clay and deep sea mineral mud with organic almond oil and honey extract. Once a week suits most skin. Twice a week if your skin runs oily. It contains almond oil, so skip it if you have a nut allergy. The honey extract also means it is not vegan.

The daily toner

Active Toner from $25.95 is witch hazel, rose and Roman chamomile hydrosols with colloidal silver, organic rosehip oil and cucumber oil. Mist it over damp skin after cleansing, then follow with an oil or a moisturiser.

The morning serum

Deep C Face and Eye Serum from $49.95 pairs L ascorbic acid with pea protein peptides and organic rosehip oil. Use it in the morning before moisturiser. Keep the cap on and store it away from light, because vitamin C does not like either.

A simple weekly rhythm

Cleanse morning and night. Tone while skin is damp. Serum in the morning. Mask once a week. Moisturise every time.
